Today was a very happy day after an extremely exhausting weekend. My 11 year old son , Matthew had to have an emergency appendectomy. I was very scared and he was terrified because this was his first time in the hospital. He came through the surgery beautifully and he was a trooper. The people at CCMC were wonderful and I will never forget how they took such great care of my little boy. I am so glad the nightmare of this weekend is OVER!!!!

ReplyDeleteThat is great to hear that your son was a trooper. I can't even imagine how you must have felt when he was in surgery. I am so nervous for when my son has ear surgery Ahh... I am going to be so nervous the whole time he is in there. Hope your daughters party went well. I hope your week and weekend goes better this time around. You sound like a wonderful mother! How is this blogging stuff going for you? Coming along pretty easy for you?

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that he did well. I am trying to braes myself for my 3 year old sons surgery coming up the first week in Sept. I know I am freaking out! I hope he is recovering well! I look forward to working with you this term.

I am so glad he is doing well now. I know all to well about emergency appenectomy, as i have had to have one about 12 years ago, as well as my oldest son had to have one when he was 18 month's old. It was very scary to go through for the both of us.
